We landed in Spokane after an hour a twenty minute flight. You can really appreciate the greenery there when you're coming from SLC. I was expecting a bigger city, but with less buildings. This city could not be appreciated by a "city slicker".
The forests were amazing and everywhere!! They have a temple (which I can't express enough gratitude for having that blessing) and I can't believe how small it is! I love it! It shares grounds with the ward house and one person can mow the grassy area in an hour or less.
They also have a Nordstrom and I am ashamed to admit I felt relief when I saw the building. We ate at the cutest french cafe on Monday morning and drove around looking for homes all day, so please excuse the fact that most of these pics are taken from the car.
We saw Mac's living quarters for the next 12 months, Sacred Heart Hospital.
Spokane has a huge river that you can take rides over. No thanks.
We discovered a ton of parks to take Noah.
I found a burger joint called "Dicks"...mmmmmmmm....Diiiicccckkkksssss. There was also a place called "Clown Town" for kids to go to...two words HELL NO! All in all it will be fine. This is all an adventure. I am so glad to have my dearest by my side and our littlest under my foot...just kidding. I love you all and will miss all of you so much.
