Getting fat is hard to do...
Noah sat by me the other day rubbing my tummy and then moving his little hand to my boobs he asked, "Mom, which one's the baby?". I don't know either, kid.

Blonde Glam!!
Most of my friends are brunette so really I don't know why I'm posting this, BUT I have found my shampoo!!! Finally! I really have tried EVERYTHING under the sun, but alas, my favorite has arrived. Redken's Blonde Glam. It's NOT a highlight enhancing shampoo and conditioner so really anyone with dry/fine hair can use it. It does give you a little more shine since dry hair doesn't shine at all...Anyway, if you want to try it I think most of the country is doing their litre duo sale right now...

Bitten
I don't know if I've mentioned the mosquitoes here, but they're massive and different kinds of breeds. Horrible. I don't like going outside at the best times of the day because of these animals.
Mac doesn't respond to mosquito bites. AT ALL. No redness, no bumps, nothing. I only say this because he doesn't think about the bugs at all...even when his son is out playing baseball in his underwear. At the worst time of the day.
Shhh, I'm getting to the point. I went to bed sick last night and when Mac came to bed he said, "Noah got a lot of bites...like 11 on each leg". I really didn't think much of it since I have 6 just on my ankles and I was out there for less than 5 minutes. Well, this morning I saw the damages...

Did you gasp like I did? I'm not a mathematician, but I THINK there's more than 11 on each leg. I feel so bad for him, but he doesn't even seem to mind (Noah that is...Mac got a lecture from me). He has 4 more on his face and a few on his arms. Just another reason mom's can't get sick!!!

City Market and Such
Mac's sister Christie came down from WI for the 4th of July weekend. We went to the City Market and Noah loved it! He rode the little train and would wave at us every time he'd pass us.

He also has gotten into putting his shirt over his head and seeing where his legs will take him...usually into a strangers legs or pole, which I sympathetically laugh at him.

Christie also gardened for us. We will miss her for so many reasons and hope to see her soon!!
We've been swimming, or Mac has as I sit there taking pictures.

Mac and I thought this was weird but we've got bunnies. They're cute and fluffy and small and I love them. If I had a garden I would probably curse them, but since I don't have a domestic drop of blood in me I can love them.
Noah also made some friends (twins!) named Janie and Charlie. We went to the zoo and I only had the energy to take two pictures. One of them at the Sea Lions and one when Noah got home to show how sweaty he was!!! I am not used to this air!! It's wet! Not like Hawaii, but heavy water air. Muggy? Anyway, Noah looks like this every day we're outside and for some reason overcast is wetter than blue skies and hotter...I need to freeze my giant bra's before leaving the house.

The Auntie Darlings
So I had my twin little sisters drive from SLC to KS with me and Noah. Can't convey how grateful for them I was/am!! That 18 hours went by much nicer with those two. We drove to Nebraska and stayed the night before going on to KC. I will say this about Nebraska-at some point in that state there is a stretch of about 10 miles that smells like a dump rolled in sour milk and eaten (if possible) by a dead animal. I don't know if to become a Nebrask'n you have to take a dump off this highway or what, but...oh...

We would switch drivers every few hours and I feel kinda (mainly not at all) bad that Maggie had to drive through torrential rain. I took pictures of her and even though I know she was crying on the inside she still smiled while a took the pics.

Anyway, Maggie and Kate became my lifting people and Noah's mothers. I LOVE having them around. Mags some how knew what tone I took with Noah and would a leave the situation. They did all my chores and took Noah swimming while Mac and I went out looking for house crap.

We love them and their presence is missed always. Thank you again girls.
p.s. Kate-I really hope your mosquito bites heal so you can have legs again.
